In 2007, Dallas School of Theology was started with the main purpose of quality education for the people those who are willing to study the Word of God. The primary goal was to set up an educational institution for the Malayalee born expats to give a theological education in their local cities. Learning the Word of God in Theological institutions in abroad is very expensive and finding time out of work was very difficult. In that scenario, Dallas school of Theology step forward to resolve that barrier by providing a systematic Theological education for those who have a call from God and the willingness to study God’s Word.
Pastor Abraham Thomas (Principal), Dr. Joseph Daniel (President), Pr Thomas Mullackal (Academic Dean) and Pr KK Mathew (Registrar) are leading the institute since its formation. The institution started at 1918 Belt Line RD, Garland, TX 75044. In the first batch, twelve students learned the word and successfully completed their studies. Well-trained and experienced teachers those who were and are holding different Academic and Pastoral positions in different capacities became the part of the faculty team was another highlight of the institution. In 2017, when Dallas School of Theology completed its ten successful years, 45 students have studied the word and have completed their degrees and have faithfully served the Lord in various capacities.
At the beginning, Dallas School of Theology started on Sundays and Mondays in the evenings. Later the days changed to Mondays and Tuesdays at the same time. From 2015 onward the location of study moved to 13351 N Stemmons Freeway, Farmers Branch TX 75234. But in 2017, another location started in the prior location due to the overwhelming request from that area. At present (2017), there are twenty students are studying in both locations.
